Pronounced ‘areum-daum,’ 아름다움 means beauty in Korean. Derived from the word, 알음답다, which signifies ‘knowing,’ 아름다움 defines beauty as something valuable and meaningful in understanding.

Available in a color palette inspired by 오방색 (pronounced 'obangsaek'), the traditional Korean color scheme rooted in the Five Elements of Korean culture. These colors are widely used in Korean art, architecture, traditional attire, and everyday life. Each color carries symbolic meaning, such as health, abundance, and good fortune. In ancient times, pigments for obangsaek were obtained from natural sources.

As Koreans deeply value visual harmony, obangsaek plays a key role in how meals are presented. In fashion, obangsaek bridges tradition and modern style, especially in the vibrant patterns of hanbok worn during special celebrations and holidays. 단청 (pronounced 'dancheong’) represents traditional paintings on wooden buildings inspired by obangsaek. These can be found in palaces and temples throughout Korea.
